- Each 40-minute session will be followed by a short break.

- Lunch time will be a 1 hour break.

- Food is available for purchase from the bistro at the venue and a steak meal will be available for around ten dollars.

- Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult (additional entry fee not required for the accompanying adult).

- Bring a few harps with you if you wish (an A and/or C harp recommended). New players may find the notes on the A harp a little easier to bend than a C harp.

- Some course materials and study notes will be handed out during the program to allow you to later reflect on what you have learned, but you are encouraged to also takes notes yourself if it helps you to retain information. Video recording is not permitted, sorry.

- This program is not a step by step guide on how to play harmonica. Instead, each session focuses on a particular technique, style, or position. Each topic will be explained and demonstrated for you, allowing players of varying skill levels to obtain more value than they might normally expect from a typical master class where the tutor often does his or her best to field random questions without the opportunity to discuss things in depth.

Hey Matt

Good luck with the Masterclass on the weekend-everybody who plays the harp should be there!

Everyone involved is primed for a great day. Hope to see many of you there as it is going up to be an interesting and unique Masterclass.

Don't forget it starts at 10am and goes until around 5pm. A solid day of blues harmonica indulgence.

Later in the evening (8pm) Blind Lemon will be playing upstairs, so bring your friends back for that and let's party hard!  Grin

The next Harp Dogs Blues Harmonica Master Class is pencilled in for May 1st. This is not yet a firm date.

Here's the current plan:

Three new instructors shall deliver six 40-minute workshops on the day.

The venue will be Club 320 at Spring Hill and the starting time will once again be 10am.

Places will be limited.

More details will be posted soon.
